What is the process for using M10 Technologies?
Tell us what you need to accomplish or the problems being faced. We'll review the scope of the project and then evaluate the resources required to meet your objectives. We will propose the most cost-effective solution (or options) based on your specific circumstances. This may include contract staffing, our "Helpdesk In The Cloud" Solution, direct placement services, dedicated recruiting, or even fixed bid consulting services.
How do you locate qualified SAP and IT professionals?
Our consultants come from our database of registered professionals, our web site, referrals, networking, specialized advertising, and many other sources. We are continually recruiting top IT and SAP talent. M10 Tek also runs the SAP Partner Incubator Program to further expand our staffing options and reach for customers.
How do you qualify your consultants?
We adhere to an exhaustive candidate evaluation process that allows us to assess the technical competence of our consultants, as well as, the behavioral "fit" factors. This process includes background reviews, skills testing, a detailed interview, certification reviews and reference checking.
When should I use a consultant?
Consultants can be an ideal means of controlling project costs, speeding development, and managing employment risk. Typically, consultants are best in the following situations:
| • |
|
Assignments of one year or less |
| • |
|
Projects where specialized expertise is needed and not available in-house |
| • |
|
When technology managers cannot afford the time or loss of focus to hire on their own |
| • |
|
"Risky" projects where you do not want to commit to a permanent hiring decision |
| • |
|
When your current staff is working excessive overtime, using consultants will reduce labor costs and help prevent burnout |
When should I use your Helpdesk In The Cloud Solution?
(See Link for info too......http://www.margin10.com/helpdesksolutions.html)
Our Helpdesk Solution should be used under the following situations:
| • |
|
Where remote delivery and support may be an desirable solution |
| • |
|
Projects or solution areas where specialized expertise is not available in-house and you don't want to hire full-time to support |
| • |
|
When technology managers want to offload the day-to-day maintenance to others, so that they can focus on issues critical to growing and running the core business |
| • |
|
When a full-time (40 hours /week) need does not exist |
| • |
|
When your organization is looking to save money and accomplish more with less. |
How is the consultant's hourly bill rate determined?
The "market" will always dictate rates, but these must also be based on the hourly cost we will need to offer to entice the caliber of candidate you require for each project or need. You will always be quoted an hourly or fixed bid rate prior to the start of any assignment. For our Helpdesk in the Cloud, these rates are determined on a "blended" basis for the application support team that is needed.
Does the billing rate ever change?
Once you agree on the bill rate, it remains in effect until the end of the assignment. Please note that for assignments lasting longer that one year, we will conduct an annual review, and may give the consultant a raise. In that case, we will negotiate a new bill rate. If during the course of the assignment a consultant is given greater or different responsibilities at your company, a pay raise may be necessitated, in which case we will also negotiate a new bill rate and confirm via a change order.
Who is the employer?
M10 Technologies is the "employer of record" for our contractors in most cases. We handle payroll, social security, and state and federal unemployment taxes. We also provide employees workers' compensation, and errors and omissions insurance coverage. M10 Tek is an equal opportunity employer. Where we are deploying another partner organization (or under SAP contract), these arrangements will be confirmed. In all cases, the M10 Tek's commitment to high quality work is unaffected!
